What is Design Samvaad
A dialogue between
designers.
संवाद — यानी बातचीत।
"Samvaad" means dialogue. Design Samvaad is a community-run gathering by GDG Noida where product designers, industry leaders, students, and makers meet in real rooms — an office, a campus, a studio — to swap process, critique work, and push the craft forward.
It's for the curious: the portfolio-builder, the career-switcher, the seasoned lead. No stage-and-audience distance — just designers in conversation. That's why it matters: careers are built in these rooms, and friendships too.

Our Journey

Where it began
A small group of GDG Noida designers wanted a room of their own — less talk, more craft. The first samvaad was an idea and a handful of chairs.
DS 2023
Finding our voice
Word spread. Portfolios were opened, work was critiqued out loud, and the format found its rhythm — designers in conversation, not on a pedestal.
DS 2024
Edition 01 — TATA 1MG, Noida
The first full edition: 50+ designers, 7+ speakers, one office in Noida turned into a design forum for a day.
DS 2025
Editions 02 & 03 — IIIT Delhi + Google, Gurugram
Two rooms, two cities, 320+ designers. From a campus in Delhi to a Google office in Gurugram — the samvaad went on the road.
DS 2026
Edition 4.0 — the next chapter
